General Visits

When a client comes to the clinic or parents/guardians bring their wards to the Clinic they are expected to meet the personnel at the front desk and indicate their interest to see a doctor, see a specific specialist or to have a specific service.

The front desk personnel will require the patient’s data for registration if he/she is a new patient and bill the patient before logging in the patient for the required service. Client’s already registered will be required to pay a consultation fee. They will be ushered in to see the doctor only after clearing with the front desk personnel and having their anthropometry and vital signs taken by our nurses.

During consultation, the client, parent/guardian/child (for those who can speak) will be asked some questions in order to make a provisional diagnosis. The doctor will carry out any necessary examination and inform you of any necessary laboratory test to be carried out. During consultation a patient will also be informed if he/she will be admitted into the ward or treated as an outpatient.

At the laboratory our medical laboratory scientists will ask for the specimen necessary for the requested test, bill for it and inform you of the time to collect the results. Laboratory Results are printed and given to patients on request.

The doctor makes a more conclusive diagnosis from the history given, examinations done and the laboratory results received where necessary. He will explain the diagnosis, likely treatments and cures and may send you to the pharmacy. At the pharmacy prescribed medication are given to you and billed. The doctor may need to refer you to another specialist and will give you this information and facilitate the referral.

All payments are made at the account section in order to carry out required services. Subsequent visits do not require registration. Patients can only book for an appointment to see any of our specialists.
